This custom dreadnought features back and sides in a very striking timber – Ziricote.
Ziricote has a very unique appearance, which is sometimes referred to as “spider-webbing” or “landscape” grain figure, likened to Brazilian Rosewood.
The top is Adirondack or Red Spruce chosen for its ability to create a true 1930s tone.
Add an ebony fingerboard and bridge, a one piece mahogany neck with 14 frets to the body and you have an instrument perfect for the recording studio.
This beautiful instrument is owned by Perth musician “Dr Jeff” – Jeff Smith.
Look out for some video footage which should be up soon.
